Portland Alumnae Club presents our
Angel Award Winner 2008-2009!
Portland AC is proud to honor Lisa Walcott Frank as our 2008-09 Angel Award winner. She currently serves on the Executive Volunteer Board as our Events Chair, and has been an integral part of our board and a vital AC supporter! We have also nominated her Founders' Day programming in 2008 for the Excellence in Programming Award; she really shook things up and honored our own Golden Arrows in a creative and loving way, while paying due respect to our 12 Founders.
The award, a silver vintage angel pendant necklace, was presented at our Recognition Tea on 28 February 2008 by Communications Chair, Shannon Howell. Here's what she had to say about Lisa:
"(Lisa) has shown true grace under pressure, even when it was out of her control. She has always available to lend a hand, a smile, or a shoulder to cry on, and is always willing to listen to someone in need. Her giving naure and her attention to detail truly make her most deserving."
Lisa works for Portland Relationship Center on SE 39th and Holgate Blvd, with her Masters in Social Work. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and her caring personality shines through in all she does.

Founders' Day Luncheon has been set!
Mark your calendars and pull out your most cherished collegiate days photo! Lake Oswego has planned another lovely Founders' Day Luncheon at the Waverley Country Club for 25 April 2009. Check-in will be at 11:30 am, with lunch beginning at 12:00 pm. Luncheon will be $24.00 per person, and attendees are requseted to adhere to the RSVP date, as well as Waverley CC's strict "no denim" policies.
